Introducing the UK’s First Advance Notification Form Checker for R&D Tax
Tax Cloud is excited to let all potential R&D tax credit claimants know that Myriad, one of the UK’s most respected R&D tax advisors (and our creators!), has launched the UK’s first checking tool for the advance notification form.
For accounting periods beginning on or after 1 April 2023, some companies in the UK must submit an Advance Notification Form, also known as a claim notification form, to HMRC within six months of the end of the accounting period in which their R&D took place. Missing this deadline could mean losing out on valuable tax relief.
This is only applicable to companies that are claiming R&D tax credits for the first time or for those who have not made a R&D tax credit claim in the last three years.
The new checker also complies with HMRC’s additional ruling regarding amended CT600 submissions.
HMRC’s rules around claim notification forms can be quite tricky to understand and have a real impact on the validity of your claim.
Myriad’s Advance Notification Form checker helps you quickly verify:
- Whether you need to submit an Advance Notification Form
- The key deadlines based on your company’s year-end
It’s fast, simple, and designed to help innovative businesses stay compliant and maximise their R&D tax benefits.
Myriad’s CEO, Barrie Dowsett, said:
“We found that many companies ringing up weren’t aware that they even needed to submit a claim notification form, let alone what their deadline was. We didn’t see any other checking tool available and said, enough is enough. We hope this tool makes it easier for companies to make valid claims and benefit from this valuable government incentive.”
Try the Advance Notification Form Checker now and take the guesswork out of compliance.
